I used to be quite active here on Wikipedia during 2002; I was even an administrator. However, I got fed up when some persons (notably somebody who calls himself the "Delayer") who to me seemed more occupied with preserving an "anarchistic webcommunity" rather than building an encyclopedia. When I was also called a fascist for no reason at all, that was enough for me (even though that particular issue got sorted out). So I left for a few months. Of course, editing articles in Wikipedia is still fun, which is why I am currently contributing to articles every now and then. But I will still avoid getting into any discussions that don't involve specific articles. It's too time consuming and it only decreases the fun I have in writing.
