County Tipperary is a county in the Republic of Ireland, in the province of Munster. Pop 120,000. It is known for its horsebreeding[?] (Coolmore Stud is the largest thoroughbred breeding operation in the world) its fertile agricultural land and its Hurling teams.
Tipperary is split into two administrative regions, Tipperary North Riding and Tipperary South Riding, whose principal towns are Nenagh and Clonmel, respectively.
