Malta is a town located in Saratoga County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 13,005.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 81.2 km² (31.4 mi²). 72.6 km² (28.0 mi²) of it is land and 8.7 km² (3.4 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 10.71% water.
